Keeping a desk clean is easy in theory, but cables, adapters and hard-to-reach USB ports always seem to get in the way. This 3D printed under desk USB extension holder is designed to solve exactly that problem: keeping USB-A and USB-C ports accessible while keeping the desk surface clean.
Why I Designed This USB Holder
I wanted a simple way to move my computer tower further away from the desk without losing easy access to USB ports. Instead of keeping extension cables loose on the desk, this holder lets you mount them neatly underneath the desk.

Recommended USB Extension Cables
This version was designed around two UGREEN extension cables because they offer good quality, are widely available and fit the holder properly.
- USB-A: UGREEN USB 3.0 Extension Cable, model 10373
- USB-C: UGREEN USB 3.1 Extension Cable, model 30205
Other cables may also fit, but I recommend checking the dimensions carefully before ordering if you plan to use a different model.
Installation
The holder can be mounted under the desk using screws. Depending on your setup, strong adhesive tape may also work, but screws are the most secure option.
- Choose the position under your desk
- Insert the USB extension cables into the holder
- Fix the holder using screws
- Route the cables toward your PC or USB hub
